All communication with MC Designs is conducted via email.
I will try to answer your email within 24 hours of receiving it Monday-Friday. I am away from my desk on weekends and holidays. Emails that are received during these times will be returned the following week.
Once design work begins, I move at a fast pace and may email you several times throughout the day. Please check your email frequently throughout the design process to keep your project moving forward. Please respond to emails in a timely manner to stay on schedule. If I do not hear from you within 5 days your project will be moved to the end of the design schedule so that I can proceed with my other clients. If I do not hear from a client for two weeks without notice the project will be dropped and no funds paid will be returned.
PAYMENT FOR DESIGN
TMC Designs accepts payment via Paypal only. A 50% non-refundable deposit must be submitted to hold your position on the design schedule. Payment in full is required before any design work will begin.
As of September 10, 2012 3% of the design total will be added to all transactions to account for Pay Pal fees.
TMC Designs will not issue refunds for partial or full payments of design under any circumstances. Should you choose to terminate a project for any reason, you will have a design credit in the amount of any invoices you paid for one calendar year.
By purchasing a custom or pre-made design from TMC Designs, you agree not to edit, alter or share our design or code in anyway. You may add/edit gadgets or posts to your blog. However, altering, copying or sharing any part of our design is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. We will be happy to work with you to add elements to your design, or to help with alterations. If you would like to make changes, please contact me.
Design updates/changes begin at a rate of $20, depending on their complexity.
Once your design is installed, you agree to keep the TMC Designs logo and other design credits visible on your blog design. You may move the TMC Designs logo and credits around, but they must remain visible on your blog until you have removed the design in its entirety.
We are happy to make a reasonable number of revisions (about 4) during the preliminary design process. If revisions become excessive during the process, you will be informed and all additional revisions will be billed at a rate of $40 an hour. After installation, you will be given one free round of revisions to correct any errors. Revisions do not include changes to design elements that were approved before the design was installed. Design changes and/or add-ons will be billed at a rate of $40 an hour (1/2 hour minimum).
After TMC Designs has received final approval from you on your blog design, all digital files will be deleted. This means after your design is installed, I cannot change any design elements, wording, pictures, etc.
For $15 I can store your design files so they are available for future revisions.
After final design is approved, you will need to provide TMC Designs with your login information to install your new design. All login information shared with TMC Designs will remain confidential between client and designer.
Your design will be tested to ensure cross-browser compatibility. It will display properly on the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer. I cannot guarantee your design will display properly on outdated versions of these browsers or on future versions.
Domain name and hosting must be set-up by client before preliminary design work will begin on WordPress blog or website. TMC Designs is not responsible for setting up domain name or hosting. TMC Designs will install WordPress on your site during installation of blog or website design.
Blog and Website packages include free email support for one week after installation to answer any questions you may have concerning your new design. Support does not include design changes or website maintenance, these services will be billed at a rate of $40 per hour (1/2 hr. minimum).
Please obtain permission before submitting any design elements or photographs for use in your design. TMC Designs is not liable for any design elements or photographs submitted for use by the client.
By agreeing to the terms of service, you are consenting to allow TMC Designs to add a screenshot of your final blog design to our design portfolio. Please inform us if you would not like your blog design linked to your site.
